Quick Scrapbook layout

Just a quick layout I did using my Paper Pups cartridge and some DCWV cardstock. The journaling spot is just some white cardstock that I stamped lines on and matted it onto the same blue cardstock that I have for where the pictures will go. The little stamp in the
corner of the journaling spot reads "home is where your dog is" and is from the dollar spot at Michael's. You can click on the picture to see it in more detail. TFL!

Inspired by Momo

First of all, please ignore the left side of this picture where I accidentally photographed some my work area. I was using a different camera and the screen is incredibly small. I couldn't tell it was like that until I uploaded it. Oops!

Anyway, these altered binder clips were inspired by Momo over at http://www.madebymomo.blogspot.com/. I think I first saw these in her craft show video. They are perfect for holding photographs and are sooo super easy to make. In fact, I've even covered some clips to use at work for their intended use, holding papers together. It's much cuter with the patterned paper instead of just the plain boring black metal. After attaching the patterened paper, I just leave it as is, without attaching the scalloped circle and cute image.

I purchase my binder clips at Staples. You get 12 for $3.79. I think they would make perfect gifts.

Thanks Momo for all your inspiring projects!

Momo's First Challenge.

Momo over at Made By Momo has posted her first challenge. Her only rule was to create something using an animal and since I don't have the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge....YET, I decided to turn to my Paper Pups cartridge and this what I came up with.

Supplies used: Plantin Schoolbook for the grass and Paper Pups for the dog, butterfly and clouds. Diamond stickles on the clouds and the "have a wonderful day" is a stamp set by Stampendous! called Flower Chat. That sentiment is stamped in ColorBox Chalk ink in Chestnut Roan.

Graduation and birthdays!

Hello everyone! This time of year is especially busy for me....busy and fun. My husband and my daughter's birthday is in April and only 15 days apart! So, as you can imagine, I've been super busy, but it's so much fun!

This year is also the year my little sister graduates from high school.I've been recruited to do her graduation announcements. I did a couple sample ones for her and my mom to choose from and now that they've made their decision, it's time to start making them. I'd better get busy...June is so close!

I would also like to participate in Momo's challenge, so hopefully on Sunday, I can get something done for that. I've only done one challenge so far, but they are lots of fun!

Okay, time for dinner. Til next time!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Okay, I did it. I decided to participate in a challenge. This challenge comes from My Pink Stamper. Her rules were to use your Cricut and the colors pink, green and black. I think those colors look fabulous together so I decided this would be a good first one to try. I wasn't quite sure what I was going to end up with, but I'm pretty pleased with it.

Supplies Used: Cricut cartridge used for this was Christmas Cheer and the "Happy Birthday" stamp was from the dollar spot at Michaels. Pink cardstock is from Bazzill. White and black cardstock is from Michaels and Crystal Stickles.

Thanks for looking!

Feeling Crafty.

For some reason I was in a crafy mood this week. I think the arrival of my two new Cricut cartridges had something to do with it. I just got Storybook and Sweet Treats.

Here are some of the crafts I did. I altered notebooks, made mini Post-It note holders and a few cards. The cards were made using Paper Pups and Sweet Treats Cricut cartridges. Enjoy!
