Simple Masculine Card Using Scraps

My daughter nabbed a role in her middle school's drama production. I am so proud of her and all the kids did a wonderful job. I wanted to do a little something for her drama teacher, who also happens to be a man, lol. I made him this simple card using scraps from my stash and did some embossing on it as well. Using a glue dot, I included a Starbucks gift card inside and wrote a personal note to him. I hope he knows how much we appreciate all his hard work on this production, too!

Cupcake Holders

Mmmmm....who doesn't love cupcakes? And I don't know about you but when something is presented pretty, it just seems to even taste better! I made these cupcakes for my church's Women's Ministry meeting and they all thought I had purchased them at a bakery! I was so flattered! The best part is these were so super easy that anyone can do it. The cupcake wrappers were made using the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge. I love those holders! So easy to put together.

The cupcakes were just made using Duncan Hines yellow cake mix and Duncan Hines milk chocolate frosting with some Wilton's White Sparking Sugar sprinkled on them. How easy is that?

12 Month Scrapbook Challenge #2

This is my submission for Christina's, from Creations With Christina's, 12 Month Scrapbook Challenge. The photograph was taken in January of '09.

I love this picture of my daughter in the snow. We don't get snow very often so when we do, it's a real treat. You can see the excitement in her face in this photograh.

Want to play along with us too? Head on over to www.creationswithchristina.com and join in the fun!
